Endowing Our Second One Hundred Years
The best way that we can celebrate our first one hundred years of brotherhood is by endowing our second one hundred years. Achieving our $2,000,000 Capital Campaign goal will allow us to do exactly that.
Campaign Chair Alex Franki and Co-Chair John Hadgkiss have identified three areas of long term need for Alpha Phi Delta.
Leadership Perhaps no other college experience prepares one for future leadership better that the fraternity experience. There are few more challenging positions than that of a chapter officer. Successfully organizing and directing a group of twenty year old peers is the ultimate in leadership. Alpha Phi Delta hosts more than a dozen leadership conferences for chapter members and officers each year. We need to do more of these and do them more often. We need YOU to help permanently endow them through your contributions.
Publications Communication is the key to success. We do this well but it is very expensive. Our Kleos is one method of staying in touch with every brother and providing the link to lifetime affiliation. Our monthly Chapter Letter reaches all undergraduates, alumni clubs and officers and provides vital information on all the activities of the fraternity. Our chapter officer manuals help our student leaders succeed in their chapter roles and operate efficiently. Again, we need YOU to help permanently endow them through your contributions.
Scholarship Our scholarship fund provides annual awards to 38 students on the basis of scholastic achievement and personal need. Each year 30 to 50 applicants are turned away. Most of the awards are in the $500 - $2,500 range which unfortunately provides only limited support. With YOUR help, we can increase both the size of the current awards as well as endow new awards.

Download the 2010-11 Alpha Phi Delta Foundation Annual Report and particapte in the Centennial Capital Campaign to endow our Leadership, Publications and Scholarship programs. Everyone pledging $1,000 or more between now and 2014 become members of the Centennial Club and will receive this silver Centennial lapel pin. ![]() Centennial Silver Lapel Pin | |||||||||||||||
