Charles G. Fiore, Theta Beta '73
Chairman


Charles Fiore was initiated into Theta Beta chapter at New York University in 1973. He was elected as Chapter President in 1974 and chosen National Outstanding Undergraduate in 1975. As an alumnus, he has served as Vice President for Expansion, Vice President for Good and Welfare, and General Counsel to the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation. He received the National Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1992. He has been a member of the Brooklyn Alumni Club since 1976.

Fiore graduated from New York University, School of Arts of Sciences with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1976 and from Fordham University School of Law with a J.D. degree in 1979. He is a partner in the firm of Lewis and Fiore which was founded in 1980.

Charles is married to his lovely wife Gail, and they have three children: Caroline, and twins Michael and William. He was appointed as a trustee in 2000.



Richard Angelica, Beta Theta '60
Trustee


Rich Angelica graduated from Mingo High School in 1959 and enrolled at the Franciscan University of Steubenville that fall. During the second semester, he began the wonderful experience of brotherhood in Alpha Phi Delta by pledging Beta Theta chapter. His undergraduate years as a brother were the best experiences of his life

After graduation, he joined the Steubenville Alumni Club. For more than ten years, he has been the President of the Steubenville Alumni Club. Its monthly meetings are usually held the first Saturday of the month from October through April. At the May to September meetings, the host brother may choose to have a summer cookout. Since the founding of the alumni club, every brother takes his turn at hosting a monthly meeting.
In 1996 Beta Theta chapter recognized Rich as the Outstanding Alumnus of the chapter at its 50th year celebration. In 1997, he was elected as a trustee to the National Scholarship Committee.
He is married to the lovely Mary Rose Angelica where they reside in Mingo Junction, Ohio. They are the parents of two boys: Rich and Chris.

Rich recently retired after 35 years as a teacher and administrator.



Anthony (Tony) V. Barbieri, Beta Beta '59
Director


Tony was initiated into Beta Beta Chapter at Manhattan College in 1959 and graduated from their school of business. He served in the military and ran the family business for 45 years.

In 2004, Tony and his wife Rosina established the Anthony and Stella Barbieri Scholarship as a tribute to his parents for their generosity and love of learning and encouragement. Tony and Rosina have been married 45 years, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and reside in Alpine, NJ.





Paul Fabrizio, Psi '63
Trustee


Paul R. Fabrizio was born in Pittsburgh and attended Duquesne University where he was initiated in Psi chapter on March 25, 1963.

After graduation, he entered military service. Upon his return, he began a lifelong association with the Pittsburgh Alumni Club and has been one of its mainstays serving as an officer for the past 30 years. He has served as Treasurer and President. He has been Newsletter Editor since 1985, sending monthly newsletters to over 200 brothers.

He has served the National Fraternity as Fifth District Governor (1972-1975) and as Vice President of Financial Affairs (1986-1988). He was formerly on the board of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation and is its most recent past chairman. He has been a scholarship trustee since 1993.

Paul works for Children's Youth Services of Allegheny County as a Regional Training Director. He and his wife Charlene have two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie.



Peter Gaudiuso, Theta Beta '82
Treasurer
Trustee


Peter Gaudiuso was initiated into &Theta &Beta chapter at New York University in December 1982. He served as Chapter Treasurer in 1983 and Chapter President in 1984. At the 1985 Summer convention, Theta Beta was recognized as outstanding Chapter for the 1984-85 school year. As an alumnus, he has been a member of the Brooklyn Alumni Club since 1985 and has served as its President in recent years. He also serves as an Alpha Phi Delta Foundation Director.

Peter graduated from New York University's College of Business and Public Administration with a B.S. majoring in Accounting and Computer Applications and Information Systems. He is the Director of Finance for Christian Dior, Inc. and lives in Rye, N.Y.





John J. Hadgkiss, Beta Rho '66
Trustee


John J. Hadgkiss, Beta Rho '66 Trustee John J. Hadgkiss, is President of Avalon Nursing Center; Avalon Springs Health Center and Business Park; Alpha Housing & Health Care, Inc. and Americare Management Corporation. He develops and operates skilled care and senior residential facilities from concept; arranging financing and supervising construction, marketing and property management. Mr. Hadgkiss holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gannon University in Erie, PA (MA: 1972; BA: 1969). He has completed additional graduate and professional study at Indiana University of PA (1976); Duquesne University (1979); and the University of Pittsburgh Graduate Schools of Business (1988).

John has served the fraternity as former president of the Pittsburgh Alumni Club, Past Executive Director of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation (1996-97) and was National Outstanding Alumnus in 2002.




Leon J. Panella, Psi '62
Trustee


Leon was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and entered Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 1960. After being initiated into the Psi Chapter in 1962, Leon was an active undergraduate, eventually becoming the Chapter's President in 1965.

After graduation he joined the Pittsburgh Alumni Club and has been Vice President, President and most recently its Secretary. Leon has received the Pittsburgh Alumni Club Man of the Year Award, and in 1975 he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Alumnus.

Leon is a former Chairman of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation and is semi-retired, has 2 sons Lee & Matthew, & 2 grandchildren.




Ronald Sme, Beta Sigma '64
Trustee


Ronald Sme was inducted into Beta Sigma chapter at St. Francis College in 1964 where he served as Pledge Master. Continuing in the educational process, he taught mathematics in Brooklyn at Most Holy Trinity H. S. and also at Nazareth Regional H. S. where he also served as Athletic Director and as Chairman of the Mathematics Department for many years until 2007.

In Alpha Phi Delta, Ron has served as District Governor, Executive Secretary, VP-Alumni Affairs, and as alumnus advisor to Beta Pi chapter at St. John's University. He has also served as President of the New York Alumni Club of which he has been a member since 1967. He has been a trustee of the scholarship foundation since 1995, succeeding Maurice Monteperto.

In 1988 he married Diane Alaggio and is the proud father of two daughters: Noel and Catherine.



Anthony (O.J.) Thomas, Beta Omicron '67
Trustee


Anthony (O.J.) Thomas was initiated into the Beta Omicron chapter at Youngstown State University and graduated with a B.S. degree in 1973. He is a member of the Youngstown Alumni Club and has served in many capacities including President and Social Chairman. O.J. has been instrumental in the rejuvenation of the YAC, raising fund for local housing and the Youngstown Alumni Club Scholarship Fund.

O.J. is a professional real estate appraiser. He and his wife Karen were married in 1977. Their daughter Leanna is a graduate of Notre Dame University. Their son Matthew attends The University of Dayton.
